CASTROL SOLUBLES

CASTROL SOLUBLES

Castrol's proven line of soluble oils with XBB technology are proven to protect against corrosion even at lower concentrations. Castrol XXB technology products are formulated without boron or formaldehyde-releasing agents. This improves operator conditions and your health and safety profile. Castrol's unique solutions to your soluble oil needs provide maximum cutting edge protection and are proven to provide a more accurate finish.

CASTROL SEMI-SYNTHETICS

CASTROL SEMI-SYNTHETICS

Castrol's ALUSOL AU series semi-synthetic coolants are formulated to deliver the highest machining performance on aluminum and ferrous alloys while meeting the strictest customer HSE requirements. They are free of boron, secondary amines (such as DIPA and DCHA), formaldehyde-release agents, sulfur and chlorinated paraffins. They have outstanding bio-resistance, long sump life and very low usage compared to typical semi-synthetics.

Castrol's Hysol MB Series Coolants are high performing, long life, and low usage coolants for ferrous and aluminum machining. They are designed for multi-metal compatibility, excellent tramp oil rejection and excellent bio-stability to provide very long sump life. Operator acceptance is extremely high, as these fluids form stable, translucent emulsions with a very mild odor. Several grades are available to match the varying degrees of performance required. Hysol MB Series are the highest volume coolants sold by Castrol due to their all-around excellent performance and overall value to the customer.

CASTROL SYNTHETICS

CASTROL SYNTHETICS

Castrol's Synthetics are completely free of chlorinated paraffin. Creating fluids that are better for the earth and for your bottom line.

Castrol's Syntilo oil-rejecting fluids incorporate a combination of surfactant technologies that provide increased lubrication versus conventional synthetic metalworking fluids. They reject tramp oil to the surface of the fluid for easy skimming and are low foaming in all water conditions. These fluids are designed to inhibit microbial growth to extend fluid life in central systems and individual sumps. Syntilo oil-rejecting fluids are formulated to prevent bi-metallic corrosion and are safe to use in machines with a variety of metal components

CASTROL NEAT OILS

CASTROL NEAT OILS

Castrol's general machining fluids (Neat Oils) contain advanced additive technology to help meet productivity and performance targets in such applications as milling, reaming, threading, and turning. These fluids provide high lubrication properties to lower production costs through extended tool life, minimized wear, improved surface finish, and increased cutting speeds. Castrol's general-purpose machining oils are formulated without the use of chlorinated paraffin additives and are suitable for rough-to-finish machining applications.

CASTROL DEFORMATION FLUIDS

CASTROL DEFORMATION FLUIDS

Castrol's deformation fluids represent a group of lubricants used for a variety of drawing and stamping operations where a component is changed without the creation of a metal chip. These forming processes are typically done with a die set and generally change the shape of the metal without intentionally reducing the metal thickness. Common operations in this category include blanking, stamping, fine blanking, drawing, deep drawing, cold heading, roll forming, bending, punching, hydroforming, and pilgering. Depending on the requirements of the process, deformation fluids may be water soluble (oil-based or synthetic), neat oil, paste, or wax.

Castrol Industrial North America's deformation fluids are completely free of chlorinated paraffin. The EPA has targeted this substance for elimination due to potential negative health effects. Castrol Industrial North America is the industry forerunner, having removed chlorinated paraffin from all of our products in 2011 to eliminate this risk for our customers
